Lawn Chair Larry (Larry Walters) joined the air force in the hopes of fulfilling his boyhood dream to become a pilot. Regrettably, his poor eyesight (and perhaps his poor judgment) kept him from becoming a "top gun" of his generation.  Eventually he was discharged from the military without ever having flown an Air Force fighter.

But dreams die hard and Larry was persistent and determined to fly despite his unfortunate fuzzy vision.  While sitting outside watching jets fly overhead, Larry devised his own flight plan and began to feverishly construct his homemade flying machine which he dubbed the Inspiration 1.

What would you do if...............

you were Larry and you had to construct your own flying machine?

How would you design it?

What materials would you use?

To find out what Larry did, check out the link below:
